Hi Bob

Are you sure its the anti sink valve you want, it sounds very much like the hydractive valve with the alloy electrovalve screwed into it that corrodes from your discription.

Hi Bob,

Is that a Front or Rear unit - actually, thinking about it, I think they are the same...

I may be wrong but I dont think S1.5 and S2 units are the same?? However, I may be able to help once someone can confirm which is which? I see your Estate is a LATE 1999 car...

Would these units be the same As Xantia VSX ones??? Anyone?

Paul

hydractive 2, hydractive 1 has a remote electrovalve so doesnt suffer this problem

Hi Dean, Citroenman,&all, im not sure what it does just assumed it was the anti sink, its situated just behind the gear box, it has two large pipes and two small a solenoid and a sphere. its here in front of me (jn the lounge) just tried some more epoxy, final attempt, but even if it stops the leak will still like to buy a replacment, dont think the epoxy would hold for long. I do miss the ride, im rattling and bouncing along in a boy racer 2 litre diesel, over 200,000 on clock, goes like a bat out of hell with my heavy boot 1 Hope the description of valve helps to determine what it is. Hi Bob

Do you just want the alloy bit or the whole cast block? is there any corrosion on the alloy thats making it leak? they should seat on an o ring where they screw in but if the alloy electrovalve is eaten away im sure someone will have one about somewhere.

Hi I forgot to mention that there is also a rubber return pipe that connects to the solinoid.
