Cheap 2.1 auto estate 'R' reg

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

The 4HP20 is a bit more fundamental than snow/sport switches beside the lever; the 'gate' is a very noticeable
open one with a stepped slot the lever runs along and it looks almost like a manual. This on the other hand
has the PRNDL labelling along the side of the big leather gaitered lever with squared top - this is real Citroen
anorak stuff isn't it... :geek:

I wouldn't consider the mileage a problem - apart from the gearbox, these engines should be good for at least 300k, with a head gasket at about 150k. I bought one at about 240k and sold it at 292k and it was still driving perfectly apart from a little clutch slip if you pushed it hard. My green one has done nearly 200k and the red one about 250k. Even things like ball joints seem to last 150k and the interior doesn't seem to wear at all! The determining factors being rust and general body condition.
