I wonder if the pictures will arrive :?:

Sounds decent, does this demonstrate the increase in XM prices or would that be the going rate, looks a bit steep, though adverts lacking in detail and pictures always do. Its not far away from me though.

I kind of have half an eye on a 94 Prestige, I just need to find its owner a suitable replacement ...

I love my Activas engine, its smooth, torquey, fairly refined and has lots of go too. Unfortunately the turbo doesn't work on the Prestige XM so its a very different thing, though im sure I could sort that. The owner has not noticed its slow ... in fact I took him out in it the other week to demonstrate the cruise control and he commented that he never gets it to accelerate as I do :? Also, its on LPG, which helps its appeal. Its a tatty thing but has no rust anywhere on the body and the under side is good too, its in daily use and despite its neglect its a reliable car.

No I doubt it too, its probably something to do with lack of use

My first port of call would be the waste-gate, though im not going to investigate it yet, as its owner is happy with it. If I got it it would be early on my list of to dos.

I have no idea where I would put it should I end up with it :? Which I probably will as it won't be a good seller in its current condition. I might go over and get i this weekend, im tempted to clean it to see what it really looks like under its 6-7 years of road crud, there is leather seats somewhere in it too.

could be a badly setup LPG system too though so you need to bear that in mind, if the boost controller packs up or a line splits you will get no wastegate actuator (limitless dangerous boost levels) the watergate would have to be physicaly seized in the open position or the wategate arm connecetd wrong (like mine was) or disconnected, or a mahooosive boost leak.

As a project though it would be great fun.

It goes for an LPG check every year, though that is a good point. It seems to perform no different on petrol or LPG.

Yes, a good project but a road going car too, its how I like them :)

I would buy the 2.1 auto every time over a 2.0 turbo. Go and look at the one near you and report back. I bet it's sound apart from the pipe.

At least it's not been scrapped... :D

I went to look at a 2.1 TD Auto in The Newcastle Upon Tyne area, and the back end was rotten. I hope its not the same one, but the pictures would tell the tale.
