Working, non leaking Epic pump, set of injectors, pump carrier and ECU for sale.
This came off my Xantia and was a fully maintained car, always used with non supermarket fuel and no wvo or bio.
It is still factory timed to the carrier for easy transplant.
This can be fitted to the XM using the original XM ECU.
I'm looking for £30

Bit of a bargain that Geoff...
Now everybody, this is an ideal opportunity to get rid of the old Bosch on your 2.1TD and upgrade to a nice Lucas EPIC...
You know it makes sense

Hi Geoff
I will take the EPIC stuff and the 2.1 rad for a couple of little projects I have planned for next winter.
Will PM you about paying and pick up.
Hi Jim
I think that the EPIC ECU contents is likely to be model age and variant personalised.
This might make Lucas retrofit far harder and expensive compared to Bosching an EPIC.
From experience with the XM 2.5 ECU there were at least 4 different versions and not all are interchangable.
There were also some reports of blown engines from 2.5 ECU chipping.

These days yes. Not run a diesel for a couple of years now following long running of various 1.7, 1.9, 1.9TDs and finally a 2.1TD across the spectrum of 205s, 405s and Xantias.
Sold the 2.1TD when my first V6 Xantia was up and running. Still miss te old oil burners though but I keep my interest up in them.
So embarrassing when I took Will's out for a spin at the National. Couldn't understand why it wouldn't start. I'd only forgotten to wait for the glowplugs
Oddly though, in my petrols I always wait for the airbag light to go off as a kind of glowplug substitute before trying a start....

Ha ha. I didn't know that..

Also it's not got the liveliest of batteries so would be turning over a bit slowly..
