hi does anyone have a rear parcel shelf for sale, it can be the full size one or the one where the back piece lifts up as the car didnt come with the secondary window(or the parcel shelf)the only thing is it has to be the darker coloured one hope someone can help

I have a parcel shelf here in N.Ireland, but hopefully you will find one local to you.

I wouldn't worry too much about colour match and fading. In the past I have removed the parcel shelf, rear speaker surrounds, and the hatch trim to re-spray them with a matt/satin black aerosol. Its a very cheap and effective way of getting all to colour match, and to revive faded parts, and no one will be any wiser of what you did.

Where are you located?

The scrapyard near me in Surrey has both of these in a series 2 XM in the yard.

I'm actually from north Wales myself, and have a trip planned up that way sometime in September, if you're not in any particular hurry I could bring them up and drop them off to you in Chester. Just to double check, do you require both the parcel shelf AND the glass to be in dark colour, as far as I'm aware they only did them in clear glass? No idea how much the the scrapyard will charge for them but they're usually fairly cheap. If there are any other parts you need I could see if its there, its a 95 dark blue S2 turbo ct.

It annoys me how some people at the scrapyard destroy perfectly good parts in order to get to the bits they want, the bumper and the front nose has been vandalised where someone has removed the headlamps and headlamp washers and the dash console has been snapped in half, I assume by someone who wanted to get at the digital matrix display. Can't imagine anyone from here doing that.

im not in any hurry for these parts, i think ive got a parcel shelf off savoy garage i will find out on friday. im on holiday in september from the 6th for a week so if you are up here after that hopefully you can help me i will put a post on friday there are some other odds and sods i could do with anyway

OK no probs, it will definitely be after the 11th September.

Only thing with this scrapyard is, the yard that the XM is in is the Saturday yard which is only open on Saturdays for some reason! I'll be going there early this Saturday but don't know when I'll be able to go again on a Saturday after this so if you want me to get some bits probably best to let me know by this Friday.

Can you clarify clear glass is ok as I think it was clear glass not dark glass.
