hi all, i've decided to send my xm to the scrappers as i can no longer be bothered with it.
needs a clutch, welding there is fdv leak front suspension rattling (arb links have been done) boot still leaks and rear drivers side window doesn't work (manual) sunroof works in tilt only but have to push on glass, rear bumper nearside bracket rotten and hanging off..................good bits it has had drivers side driveshaft, handbrake cables, cambelt, water pump, hydro flush every year, service history and s1 alloy wheels.
all i want for it is £150 which what i've been offered for scrap. i'd sooner see it go to someone hear then go to the scrappers.
but i want it gone.
oops sorry it is mot'd until 3rd march 2012 and is taxed until end of march.

If it does go for scrap can I have first refusal on the wheels and bolts, strut tops and whatever spheres you can get off, please?

Can the wheels and bolts come off before it goes, it would be a real shame to let S1 wheels go scrap.
Strut tops would be a good thing to save as well.

i only have the rims no tyres or bolts and they have been included in the scrap price.

Simon which alloys does it have?
If it is this style, can I have the centre caps if they are destined to scrap?

yes the definitive xm alloy wheel. i think i can get away with saving those.
last chance now, turn up with a trailer or can be driven away £150.
i'm really sad i'm doing this as it suppose to be my boy hood dream. but means must as they say!
