This is my third XM and I am only selling because I have my eyes on another!
Prior to me the car had been in the same family all its life being passed from father to son to brother.
It is obvious that it has been cared for.
The interior is grey felour and is in excellent condition without tears or rips.
Engine will have done 102000 by the end of the listing as I am using it as my every day car.
It starts every time and runs well, not using oil or water.
Returns 32+ mpg and is a brilliant motorway cruiser.
Has a twin socket electrics with the towbar and is a brilliant tow car due to the citroen self levelling suspension.
With the exception of two dings, one on the top of the door and the other on the n/s wing ( pictured) , and a scrape on the n/s door mirror, the bodywork is in excellent condition.
The suspension does what it should rising and falling on cue.
it soaks up the roads and scoffs at speed bumps.
It has has two recent front spheres and an accumulator sphere.
It stops in citroen fashion with firm pedal pressures.
The estate is huge and takes us into Volvo territory.
It is equipped with a working tilt/slide sunroof.
It has a radio cassette with cd autochanger. The sound is outstanding.
Recent oil change with filter.
It I was to be picky I would mention the non working reversing lights, the dodgy pixels for the clock, and the missing cover for the immobiliser. I believe these are both well known citroen faults.
Other than that There is little to mention.
A totally competent car. I hope the ones being made today are as good after 30 years.
