This car has been bid up over £1000 and 3 days to go! Looks very good, but LHD and over 200,000miles, I don't know if it is overpriced or a bargain, what do the resident cognoscenti think?

Way over priced.
The paint high mileage message hidden as kms near the end of the photos is IMHO close to a con.
I would price the car's value between £300 and £400.

Probably bidders (9 currently) with a French second home looking for a big capacity left hooker and maybe a bargain compared to French prices??

This car has run on ebay twice before and iirc it did sell.
I've driven a left hook 2.1td estate and it was a very nice drive, light clutch and no speedo wobble or knocks or clonks, which was not bad considering it had over 500,000km under it's belt.

If these are genuine prices, I'm chuffed. looks like XM are going up in value.

yep, if tidy cars are starting to make this sort of money its good news all round really, gone are the days when an oil and filter change would write the car off
