Lexia 3 readable install CD PLEASE!!!!

Since the reset at the last CXM rally of the suspension black box in my XM S2 estate I have been suffering with a "harsh ride"again - it has reverted to FAULT mode ie. on start up there is no pulse of the sport mode light.

Because my local independent Citroen dealer claimed my car is too old to plug his box of tricks into. I bought a Lexia 3 off Amazon to clear the fault(s) myself on a regular /as necessary basis, rather than annually.
When my plain brown packet containing my personal box of tricks arrived, I was not surprised to find what was sent is a counterfeit/fake/poor facsimile with cheap CDR pirate copies of the diagnostic software. Annoyingly there were no instructions in the box just two cds with stickers which jam in slot drives and cause bad vibrations because the balance is out of whack. The sliver coating was so thin it can be see through, unfortunately the lazer eye does too, so it won't install, the disc can't be read with numerous error codes to confirm.
The instructions transpired to be hidden as a word doc at the bottom of an email, and comprised of some screen shots and a few added lines of confusing text

I wrote to the Amazon market trader/UK based vendor and requested a new CD the response was the email below

------------- Begin message -------------

This is the first time I have seen this message from you, helpfully Amazon does not email me to inform me I have received a message.

So far I am not in the least impressed with your personal attack attitude shown towards me when quite clearly I do not manufacture these so have no way of managing the quality of any compact discs that come with the kit. Your email is not the correct way to rectify problems with online purchases. I run 7 day a week support out of my own time for any customers who buy from me, but frankly I have never dealt with someone so unreasonable right from the outset.  Most people I sell to are independant garages that understand that playing around with OBD diagnostics inherently involves wasted time and technical ability. Because of this:-

Please return the items to me

I suppose if you buy shit one shouldn't be surprised if it smells!
I leave readers to draw their own conclusions.
In the mean time I humbly request , from anyone who has had a good experience with these cheap imports from more honorable vendors, a usable copy of a copy of the software that works.

Hi XMas

I am afraid that loading up the Lexia software is regular problem for many clone buyers.
In my opinion the price charged for a clone usually recognises that there will be very limited technical support.

The genuine Lexia3 is these days normally supplied preloaded on a dedicated laptop.
Even then in my experience it is not totally reliable kit.

I have Lexia discs but not currently the ability to copy them.
Where abouts are you?
PM me if you think I can help.
