CX GTi Turbo anyone?

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

I didn't realise you're a chimney sweep Dean! ;) I've resurrected beyond the pale jersey
cloth and velour with this nifty shaving foam type cleaner and would even go so far as to
say it removes oil as has been the case with the S1 velour seats of my CT Turbo.

And NO, my dislike of leather has nothing to do with the friction between alleged gimp suits
and leather seats...

To be honest I don't dislike leather and could even be persuaded to have a GTi turbo if it
looked like this inside (even if it does look more like a tart's boudoir:

but black leather reminds me of base spec 70's plakky seats and is TOTALLY and UTTERLY naff!!!

Sorry andrew,

Not swoopy enough, too boring, even though the heater controls are were the radio is on S2....

Ummmmm........... nope, sorry, its defenatly a nope on S1 cars, and im not keen on the metal bumpers, I just prefer the longer looking plastic S2 bumpers..

Im available for weddings if anyones interested

dont really like the second one colour wise but the shape and layout of the dash looks nice, the interior of the first pic is as near perfect as i would want, i too love that dash and the way the red leather has been tied in with the it using the detailing around the centre console, lovely.

The thing with a s2 though, is the bumpers look too slab sided - OK arguably more modern,
but the s1 sweep up from the rear spat gives the whole profile a sharper more balanced stance:

Mind, for me whether it's a s1 or a s2 Cx there's no argument; bit like do you prefer
your left leg or your right leg? = you really need both!! :P

Series 1 is the only way on a CX!

The Series 2 is too conventional. (If a CX could be conventional)

If anything a Series 1 CX dash resembles a Series 1 XM dash even more, with the almost seperate centre console.

The sight of a manual CX always makes me wince -

there's bugger all room in the footwell with two pedals, let alone three :?

Hang on!! Is that the SAME plastic Heater Outlet pedal area in the CX S1 as used on the XM???!!!! Looks VERY similar!

Its pretty uncanny really, they are VERY similar is idea !

I still MUCH prefer the sloping S2 dash to the S1 dash... Radio between the seats!? What better way to get your eyes off the road when driving! They wouldn't ever in a chance get away with that now!
