White 2.0i-16v
P104 CMO is certainly changing hands quickly recently.

It was a nice original spec car.
I don't like the plastic effect seats or the white wall tyres.

Nice to see your still 'Popping In on the Forum' , obviously you can't shake off the XM bug ?
I think your on the look out for another XM

I'm sure it won't be long before you have another one back in your fleet

Re: White 2.0i-16v
Hi Richard,
I have to admit, I do miss my XM, and I am tempted when I see a nice white one like this.
But I have to be practical, and an XM doesn't suit my requirements at the moment.
So I don't think I'll be getting another any time soon.
I did think that one day I might be the proud owner of a C6, but after that recent picture of a C6 with a broken strut top
I've really gone off the idea.
But I'll still be popping in here from time to time.
Paul.

Because of 1 out of the 950-odd that there are (according to DfT)... Haven't heard of any others...minijet wrote:I did think that one day I might be the proud owner of a C6, but after that recent picture of a C6 with a broken strut topI've really gone off the idea..

Don't let it put you off - they are fantastic cars.

Re: White 2.0i-16v
I used to own (until just over a year ago) P104 CMO, and it was a good car in my opinion. I sold it because I found a V6 that I wanted, but that turned out to be a mistake. The rust on the rear near side wheel arch does not seem to have deteriorated sigificantly, but there was also signs of some coming through on the front off side, if I recall correctly.
When I sold it, it had the correct interior which was in as new condition. It was economical, but had to be driven carefully to get close th the seller's claimed consumption. In the end, I thought the auto box sucked a bit too much out of the power.

Looking at these pics: yes I do regret selling it -and for less than the current owner is looking for! Cest la vie.

For those interested here's Rob's INTRODUCTION posting, also the link for his FOR-SALE thread !
So the seller's re-listed it now with a BIN of £1000 or (make an offer) which they've had but declined !
Also the leather/door-cards (Photo #4) look like there out of an S1/1.5 model having the 'Chamfered Edge' feature rather than the 'Radius Edge' top as are featured on the S2 models !
P.S. How could anyone forget 'Citroenmad' (Chris's) SHED OF THE WEEK thread too !

Definitely S1 door cards, look at the "fit" where it meets the dashboard.XMX wrote:
