An ebay advert has appeared this evening.
Ads are for Mk1 wing mirrors but advert mentions that he is breaking a complete V6-24v.
I think the seller is a Citroen specialist based in North London.
Advert is 221049492950.

It is Andrew Brodie's the Sm guy.
I've asked him about a few things
I'm after for mine, primarily the x3 cats.

What a shame to see such a rare car being broken and I wonder why? I ended up sourcing replacement cats in Germany Andrew and I assume like mine yours have been removed? Many thanks for highlighting the item John and I suspect Franklin might also be in touch with the seller! With regards, Matthew T.

Am gettting reports of a G Plate mandarin V6 for sale in Birmingham too - looks fit for the breaker's yard but would be complete. Further info to follow.

That is interesting and also rather tantilizing!! Unfortunately from the shots I cannot quite read the reg. and wing badges, but it does look like a 24v, or possibly a series one 12v, which were sold from late 1990-early 1991 in 24v trim. I am surprised at the G reg. since if an original number it could not then really be either model!! Regards, Matthew T.

G787BJB and IT IS a 24v v6 - 26 06 1990 car
The sills have settled onto that kerbing and heaven knows what the cats
and pipework will be like but I have an irrational urge to want to rescue it...
wonder if the engine is crocked. With any luck I should have my transporter
trailer back up and running shortly.

You are right about the reg. and spec. Andrew, which is strange because I thought the 24v was not available in the UK until early 1991, ie. 'H' reg. Having said that, Paul's platinum 'H' 24v has an earlier RP than my 'G' reg. 12v! I thought you were trying to get rid of cars Andrew!! With regards, Matthew T.

Good spot John.
That Mandarin car looks like it could be a total and utter headache. It's on an up-to-date SORN so can't tell how long it's been of the road on DVLA, but looking at the photos, a good while with that moss and algae. However beggars can't be choosers if you want a 24V, and good luck if anyone's gets it...
Yet another car that proves the rule of you just don't know what's out there...
