Looks a bit tatty - well, slightly more than a bit!
Needs a clutch, and a little more
make him an offer.

That's a long way down from Robert as he's in the North...

it's the same island - Waterford isn't Cork or Galway in terms of distance!

Not sure what has been happening on those leather seats.
No way should they be all slack and wrinkled like that.
Only the Mk2 door cards should have wrinkled leather.
Looks like black bin bags peeping out from under the floor mats.
I wonder why.
Robert may well know about the car.
Will have to wait and see if he checks on here and can post from his Scandinavian tour.

I think some fat ass has been sitting on those seats!
shuffling their bum too much on them.

Probably been a Taxi judging by the rear seats being saggy.

mileage doesn't compute for a taxi - but the state of that footwell and the seats (plus the rather shiny steering wheel) say it's had a harder life than 130,000 miles would suggest.

The unwrinkled condition of the passenger seat ties up with the Taxi theory.
The grey floor carpet and console side panels are wrong for a black leather car.
The car is noted as being an import from the UK at some stage.
Perhaps it was also refitted with ex Taxi leather at some stage.
Unless heavily abused clutch life on a 2.5 ranges from 175k to 275k.
So either the 130k is real and the car has had a very rough life.
Or its been very well used and had a speedo fail and replacement fitted.
Whatever the history the current condition and location of the car make it a poor prospect.
The cost of a garage done clutch replacement at around £1000 is probably more than twice the value of the car.
Shipping to the mainland is totally uneconomic.
Not that much in spares worth having either.

This is a scrapper in my eyes, and of no interest to me.
I have never seen XM leather go like that, as the upholstery tends to wear very well on these cars. It very possibly has had a dog's life which is very current in ROI.
