There is just a possibility I might need to part with one of my beloved V6 if there is anyone interested out there? I have done quite a lot of work on the car and she is now in good fettle, with the great combination of platinum bodywork and all black leather interior. The reason for the sale is a need to make way for other XM projects!! With regards, Matthew T.

Nor me. I get very attached to my cars and find I can only swap them if I've not had them very long and then only to fellow forum members or friends...

My Activa and V6 are likely to be with me for ever. Had both of them too long now...

Not had the XM long but I already know it will be a long-termer...

I wholeheartedly agree with you both and I also do not find it at all easy to part with cars and form strong attachments, especially given much time and energy is spent sorting out various niggling problems, never mind the financial investment! It is only the prospect of another challenge combined with the shortage of funds and space that gives encouragement!! The other project might well not progress, in which case I will be very happy to keep the car. Best regards, Matthew T.

I think your DAFT selling a G plate - possibly one of the earlyest XM's being a G, sell a TCT, they probably do about the same MPG as the V6, you have two, and the G plate XM is getting quite hard to find...
