As title listing on behalf of Mark (mds141), as its not suitable for his XM, with this NOS having the 3.5mm Dia, feed-pipe connection (also it has the smaller tapered feature for a 23mm dia, strut/rod), therefore he's listed it on E-BAY
Here's also extra information he's e-mailed me with which may help to decipher the suitability for your vehicle etc.

IIRC Dean has modified one of these to accept the larger 10mm feed-pipes (As he sourced a tap) and got a small engineering firm to do the machining, also 'Davetherave' had one or a pair to get modified (But I don't know whether he got it done) ?

Note ! As per the E-bay listing any questions please PM Mark thank you.

Its not hard and perfectly feasable to drill them out to correct size!

Im sorely tempted and had Id sold a Xantia then Id be having this top!

Hi Paul, I would have suggested that to Mark BUT only if that was the only modification which was needed for his application, however the one hes selling has the smaller tapered feature for a 23mm dia. strut/rod, he needs the the strut head which is suitable to take the 25mm dia. strut/rod size !

Also I'd think it would more costly (If you could even find anyone to machine/modify that feature correctly too) hence easier for Mark to get a correct sized donor strut top (for a Refurbish with KingAs) ;)

Thanks for posting this up Richard. Sold to a XM enthusiast in Germany, who has a 1988 XM. He is after other parts if anyone has anything for a very early model. Cheers Mark.

If his XM is one of the first then there is a good chance that he will have to change the strut as well.
Early struts had different LHM feed arrangements at the rod top.
One pre 1991 old to new combination (struthead/strut) was permitted, the other was barred by Citroen.
Cannot rember which but it will be posted somewhere here.
There are a number of other hydraulic system mods made to the early XM's.
It makes S/H component replacing on 1989 and 1990 cars a real lottery without careful research.
