Gladly, My XM NOT Up For Grabs...

Indeed. Fact is I can no longer run, maintain and justify three cars so one has to go. Unfortunately the XM came third.
Those that know me know why this is the case and I'll say no more here.
I'm not going to say much about the XM except that it's an S1.5 2.0TCT Prestige (Sei) auto running on LPG and is black.
It's a good 'un, everything works and all is sound underneath. MOT'd until November 2013 and taxed until May.
There's a little cosmetic damage in the rear quarter but apart from that she's dead straight body-wise.
She could really do with some new strut tops and a new cambelt and waterpump but that's the limit of what might need doing.
I'm looking for a good home for her rather than making the most money so make me a reasonable offer and if your home is good she's yours!
Thanks...

Sorry to hear you're selling up Jim, but not selling out. I got my redundancy notice two days before Christmas, so might be in the same situation before too long. The DS3 will be going in a couple of weeks. Hang on in there mate.

Really sorry to hear of your redundancy Mark

I'm sure you'll soon be on your feet again in a better job with better pay...
My situation is all down to my health and my ability to look after three cars to the standard I wish them to be looked after and also I'm barely driving now and that'll be the case for the foreseeable so on that basis alone it's hard to justify two, let alone three cars.
There's no lack of love for the XM - just the opposite - it's just the Activa and V6 have been with me for a long time now, they're well-known so they're the ones who stay unfortunately...

Oh no Jim, this is terrible. I'm so sorry to here about your descision....made worse by how you found it so comfy...best mobility scooter around!
I was wondering how you were doing, there has been a lack of 'Citrojim' on here of late .....
All the best Jim, and hope you improve. Hope to see you at some rallies with the Activa. You need to show me what all the fuss is about!!!

Thanks Russ and I'll be back up to my old self on the forum in no time and don't worry, I'll not be leaving this forum even if I don't actually have an XM
You'll often see me go a bit quiet. It's when my brain decides it doesn't really want to play with a full deck

Sad to hear Jim but understandable in the circumstances. Hope you will keep sharing all those tips on the forum and wishing you progress soon with your health. I hope the XM will find a suitable owner soon:) And if you'r in need of red xantia parts, let me know!
