A XM and a CX interior

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

A XM and a CX interior

Post by dkr » Tue Feb 26, 2013 12:24 pm

I have a lovely XM 2.1 TD automatic I am selling on behalf of my ex for sale, its a Black SX model, with 170,000 on the clock, with a leather interior, CD player (aftermarket), M.O.T till 8/11/2013 and TAX till 31/05/2013.

Its in lovely condition but her mum gave her a 206 instead, so I have been asked to sell it for her, the car is located in Chatham, Kent.

Ialso have a black cloth CX gti interior, complete for sale for £20 if any one knows of some one whowants one.

Just some more info. Pictures soon.

A few days after I bought the car I found out about my uncle, and realised I'd have to be doing mega mileage, none of which on motorways. The XM hasn't been getting great economy; Philippe, the man I bought it from, said I should expect 45mpg, and it's achieving 22 - but then I'm mostly driving along B roads and stuck in traffic. I'm going to have to go back to the 206, no option. I took the car back after 2 weeks, said keep the tax which was brand new and the stereo I had fitted, and said pay me back as and when you can. At first this was no problem but all of a sudden it is. I've known the man for 7 years, worked for him for 5, and go to little horwood with him each year. I really didn't expect this.

I have a lot on my plate right now, and I'm seriously considering any sort of offer just to recoup my losses. This could be a great opportunity for someone to pick up a pretty damn near perfect XM for peanuts. It really is a lovely drive and is nice and clean. I'm sad it has to go but I'm between a rock and a hard place, so to speak. I want this all to be over so I can focus on the important things right now.
If I'm not mistaken, this is the one that Matt/Charlotte is selling for £1400 as in THIS thread so why start another thread about the same vehicle (Unless its been sold on) ?
