v reg 2000 xm 2.1 td estate

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

I believe the head is cracked and the loss of oil from the sump damage is not worth the risk of bottom end potential knock if its been starved..

Hello to you all
just to clarify the fault, bottom a/c pump bolt hangers are cracked and leaking oil quiet quickly.
Fastened a s/h head 6000 miles ago,but now has pressure in the coolant system again.[S/h head had been welded before so not the best head to use.
NEED A FULL ENGINE WITH ALLOY SUMP TO CURE.
IS IT WORTH DOING ????
BODY STILL GOOD SLIGHT PAINT BUBBLES AROUND REAR WHEEL ARCH SECTIONS.
can anyone help.
would buy a full car cheap if there is one about.
Regards to you all savoy.

I've got a complete 2.1TD engine with alloy sump and was coupled to an auto transmission.

It came out of a running car with 160k miles on. I scrapped the car due to underbody rust.

PM me if interested.

Excellent news Malcolm :D I'm sure the 'box will be good after this. Did you find anything definite and what bearings did you replace?
