Another one of my old XM's...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Citroen-XM-/3 ... 4d0c81a279

It looks in a much worse state then it was in when I sold it too!

When I sold it I'd just put a brand new genuine Citroen centre section on the exhaust that cost over £350 and it also had a brand new radiator on it too. The door on the back is the wrong colour, it was removed from a Series 1 car as the old one had been damaged in a car park. I just never got round to getting it painted before I sold it.

I don't think the guy has used it much at all as it's around 3 years since I sold it.

David.

It may go for a few hundred BP? Someone with a bit of skill and a penchant for tinkering could turn this into a beautiful car :)

Hi David

I like alot this XM, and, with LPG, it's my dream car!

Do you know anything about this condition he mentions where the engine doesn't switch off?

Regards
George

Fraid not George.

I had it on eBay as it was doing that when I got rid of it. It looks like the guy bought it from me, drove it to Aberdeen and just left it.

It was a car I lost interest in as I found out that I had the silver one coming.

I worked it out the other night, it's around 4 years since I sold it.

David.

David, I think I'm pushing my luck being interested in a 143k miles autobox car, with an "obscure" ignition issue, but yes I am. I've emailed you.
Thanks
George

So, at a mere £205 who was the lucky(?) buyer- anyone on here?

Not me -the seller didn't respond at all to my communication, so didn't pursue it further.
cheers
George

That's a shame.
Still at £205 well worth it even just for parts.
