Silver manual td estate
.
But alas, it's a 2.5......sorry Peter, nearly the right car, but not quite .

Looks ok, wouldn't mind it myself, but it's somewhere in the wilderness of deepest Scotland.......
It's a very early S2.....L reg.

Man, that's a double don't like for me. I dislike the looks of both the S2 and the break.

Wow... DVLA web site confirming it IS a 1994 model too....
S2 didn't really come to UK untill Late M 1995, as the hatch's are available on M reg 1994 in S1.5 guise...
Must be the VERY first one to the UK, or special ordered..

Re: Silver manual td estate
I have heard rumours of L reg Mk2 2.5s, but never seen any hard evidence for anything earlier than mine which is an early M reg (I think it is late Aug early Sept 94 registration, but can't remember the exact date).
Expect half the cruise wiring to be missing if you were thinking of getting it and plugging the switches in It is doable, but you have to add a couple of the missing wires yourself.
Also, from the engine pic on that listing it looks like the fuel pipes are going in some odd, over stretched directions? I presume that was just from bypassing the pre-heater tough.

I was getting excited about that one until the '2.5' was revealed. If it had been a 2.1 Gairloch wouldnt have deterred me I shall be up that way in a couple of months anyway.

Hi All
I must admit I was surprised by the "L" registration when it finally turned up on ebay.
Bought a 2.5 strut head and spare 2.5 ECU from the seller a few months ago.
We talked on the phone then (me checking that the strut head was 2.5) and the imminent sale of the estate was mentioned then.
Collection costs should damp the interest from most of us.
Not just the £50 in fuel to bring it down but getting the last bit of the pick up the 75 miles north west of Inverness.
