eBay: loads of 'em

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Unfortunaly the XM should be branded a "DIY only" car. I'm sure that most of us here are far more knowedgable about them than the average garage. For this reason many people who like the car but don't have the necessary understanding of them get ripped off. Mind you, if you look at 'Honest Johns' forum it seems that most people do now anyway, whatever car they have the dealers don't seem to understand them.

Yes you are right Peter, for instance mine went for its mot today, when i picked it up the handbrake wasnt on, it was left in park with the handbrake button pressed, and the climate control turned to min15 with the A/C turned off which to me suggests they dont know how climate control works, you dont have to change the temp setting and have no idea how to operate the handbrake on one of the cars they used to sell :) they are all the same. And i cant stand the 'change some parts and hope we get lucky' attitude all garages now seem to have when it comes to fault finding  i like to find whats wrong before i replace a part, especialy when im dealing with someone elses hard earned!

Not bumping this up for inglorious self promotion of mine (honest!) but I've just noticed the late silver V6 WHM was selling on eBay has disappeared - has anyone from here been to see it or maybe even bought it?

Cheers

He's probably removed it due to the "fall out" from this thread? It is(was) his most expensive listed.
So, expect it to appear as a "private sale" sometime soon?
