Look at this!

And look further, Peugeot fitted Cruise Control to the 605, and its a manual too!! Now that IS interesting!

Cor...rare. Would be a good resto. We definitely got the better interior design I think...

Could be a massive headache though, the car isnt rare at all, the engine is though and half of its in the boot, hopefully the other half is under the bonnet!
Says needs new rods and pistons on the rear bank, does anyone know where to buy these items? why do they need replacing in the first place when the seller claims the bores only need "de glazing"?

I don't know Dean, I would say the 605 is quite a rare beastie these days.

That one passed me by, your right there arent any left atm just this one! where does the time go eh?
Even so, good luck finding the bits, wouldnt like to re build the engine someone else half took apart. Shame.

Needles and haystacks come to mind. Quite agree about finding the right parts.

The 605 certainly is a rare beast with any engine and according to the HMAL website only one remains on a SORN!! As I have a spare complete engine this would be a tempting project, that is if I had more space, time and spare cash! Regards, Matthew T.
