WTD : XM Estate towbar

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

I've been told hatch and estate aren't swappable but not sure why myself :(

If you have one let me know the cost Paul and I can pop over in day :)

Hmmm, Im rarely about now. We would NEED to find out the difference's between them. I do NOT want to lug it over here to find its wrong.

I would have to meet you on a Sunday AM or something to pass it to you..

There are a series of designs for XM tow bars Citroen plus a number of after market.
Fitting one adds large areas of 300mm either side MOT checks to the rusty back end of the typical XM estate.
Adds the wiring function and condition to the test as well.
The Estate cross bar is usually further back than the car one.
That makes side drilling, plates, bar struts and tow hooks different lengths.
If Paul cannot find one I will look one out or recover one for you.

Cheers John. Not too worried about the rust, just having one helps with resale IMO and makes a car even more usable.

I'd like to stick a trailer on the back and possibly recover a WJ grand cherokee back home for repair... Past the weight limit but the xm should cope easily with it taking my time.
