FS: XM 2l Petrol Turbo 1995 S2 Silver Project Car

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Alternatively, it could have been snapped up by WHM only to reappear on Ebay with an extra zero added on the end of the price.

Hi
I bought the XM from Michael and it was much better than I was expecting, drove home to Edinburgh with no problems apart from £75 to fill the tank but it did 35 mpg on the way home. Took it for an MOT after cleaning both front abs connections and all it failed on was the exhaust. The turbo housing is cracked so hopefully have it fixed for the end of the month. It joins a few Citroens and definately won't be broken up in fact A1XMT is being transferred to it.
I bid a lot more than the price it went for, unfortunately for Michael, but there were no other bidders in spite of 42 watchers.
I'll keep you posted. :D

Congratulations georgec. Looks like you got a really nice car.
I really like the colour, it looks well with the grey interior.....but keep an eye on the drivers seat, that alcantara velour is rather fragile (mine wore through after about 130k).

I was one of the 42 watchers, I was still undecided whether to put in a bid right up to the last few minutes, but the main problem was I had nowhere to put it with no road tax.

Anyway, glad to hear it's gone to an enthusiast and not a pug or the breakers:D

That's great news George - I'm really pleased to hear the car is in good hands and I might say at a bit of a bargain price really.
Great number plate - I was slow a while back when I considered it when it was probably £190...

not far off the whole car it's going on to now!! :?

Welcome to the forum too! Don't be worried about talking about anything on the forum - everyone else does!! ;)
