My little wish list

I am trying to keep my car in pristine condition, and there are a few small parts that I would like to get hold of, or spares for the future.

I will put a list here and update this first post as the list shrinks (or grows).

The car is a 1999 24V V6 ES9 LHD Exclusive Manual transmission in Quartz grey.

Bits for inside:
- Plastic hinge pin(s) for the internal rear window.
- Original factory-fit over-mats (grey), particularly front left and rear both sides.

Bits under the bonnet:
- Right hand ES9 V6 engine mount (complete or rubber donut).
- Headlight wiring harness (1997-on RHD or LHD), Scandinavian spec. with daytime running lights would be nice.
- Screen wash level sensor

Exterior bits:
- any of the detachable plastic trim parts painted in Silver Quartz (mirror covers, scuttle end pieces bumpers etc) in near perfect condition.
- at least one door rubbing strip with a piece of perfect trim to cut down to repair the trim on a front wing.
- a rubber seal for the hatchback tailgate in good condition.

Any other ES9-specific parts that might come in handy one day...

PM me if you have any of the above to spare.

Adding to the list a fuel sender fixing ring (I presume that XM and Xantia are all the same). I managed to break mine today. I will be at the event next Sunday, if someone could look one out.

The car is a 1999 24V V6 ES9 LHD Exclusive Manual transmission in Quartz grey.

Bits for inside:
- Plastic hinge pin(s) for the internal rear window. COULD BE PRESUADED TO FIND A COUPLE BUT THEN MY SET MIGHT BE SHORT NEED TO CHECK STOCKS... ;-)

- Screen wash level sensor YES I THINK I HAVE ONE SOMEWHERE

Exterior bits:
- any of the detachable plastic trim parts painted in Silver Quartz (mirror covers, scuttle end pieces bumpers etc) in near perfect condition.
- at least one door rubbing strip with a piece of perfect trim to cut down to repair the trim on a front wing. DO YOU WANT A WING TRIM AS IS? CAN DO ONE IN BASE SPEC GREY IF SO? Is it the Crome your after?
- a rubber seal for the hatchback tailgate in good condition. SHOULD HAVE ONE. ILL CHECK TWO THAT I KNOW ARE BUT OTHERS I HAVE NO IDEA

Any other ES9-specific parts that might come in handy one day...

PM me if you have any of the above to spare.

Mike you basically want an es9 engine in decent order don't you :)

The engine mount can possibly be redone using the engine mount from the rear of the engine as a base...

A complete engine might be a bit much...

I think the lower mount is made from a harder compound rubber. so would not have the same performance. It should be possible to get the rubber re-cast to the original specification, but I don't currently know of a suitable supplier (I knew a company that did this, but they went out of business).

With the heat of the engine the top rubber should be fine to be honest and much better than one that's dead or dying :)

Good spot... They even have a picture of a broken (and rebuilt) ES9 top mount on their web page.
