Not an xm but.....this is beautiful

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

I have a weakness for this car - Im in love  :D

Honestly id love to take this on if i had the means to do it justice....achingly stylish, the right colour, the right Pallas spec, the right interior combination...Its the one id have picked and specified if i had been stood in a citroen dealership at the time

PURE LOVE for this car :)

Hi Neil,
Engine hasn't been started in 20 years. I haven't checked the dipstick
lately.
Clutch and brakes all feel OK. Not stuck on and car rolls with no
trouble at all.

You can view some more photos here:

Car is based in Sidcup, Kent if you wanted to see it.
I have several interested in it so far and I'm expecting it will sell
for around £1000, so if this is within your budget I would be pleased to
arrange a viewing for you.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Regards
John

I just can't guarantee the garage space at the mo, otherwise . . .

Looks very good for that money! Basically a DS21 engine that'll go on forever. I've freed one up in the past by just taking the plugs out, pouring some diesel into each cylinder and leaving it a day or two, then put it in top gear, jack up one from wheel and rock it back and forth. After that the engine will probably be good for 300,000 miles!

Better than an XM in my opinion, at least the CX25DTR Turbo Safari is. I ran them for many thousands of miles and there is no comparison in the handling and steering - just that the CX had a lousy heater.

Absolutely Peter, a decent CX is far far better!

I really, really, really would love to take this on . . . but I've nowhere to keep it, and no time to see to it until the new year.

You may get lucky, I doubt he'll sell it quickly. There's only a few nutters out there like us that'll go for renovating an early CX like this! I'm standing aside, have at least one too many old Citroens already.

Would be interesting to know if it has Diravi, the very early ones didn't although as this one's a Pallas I should think there's a good chance.

Cheers
