very late XM estate

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

very late XM estate

Post by nirgunapa » Sun Sep 20, 2009 10:29 am

Having had a 98 XM estate sell quite near I was suprised at the lateness of this XM estate which is on Autotrader at the moment. When did estates stop being produced /imported?

There is a '98 manual diesel estate on there, silver as well, I was on the point of asking my wife if she fancied a trip to Geordieland - then I read '2.5' .

No, nearly got exited about that one as well, except that its a Mk1, then read 'auto', less usual to find a an early one that's auto. I reckon that red one that Chris bought is about the last. :(

Peter,

Auto was an Option from 1992 on the diesels to start with, then from around 1995 came almost standard, option manual.

Still looking!?

Do you fancy a "low miles" (140odd k ;)) green s2 auto VSX estate that needs a clutch?
NO legals but nice solid car though I've no idea what it's worth!

Note: attached trailer and towcar not included!

Well, there you go, that's what owning lots of Citroens does to you!
It's also probably due to reading posts about autos all afternoon on here not helping matters too...

Yes ok, it IS a manual and it still needs a clutch! Anyone want to persuade me it's a straightforward job on the 2.1 as I
have a Valeo kit and would consider doing the repair. It'd be shredded and on the next boat to China if it was an auto!
