As title listing M925 OVN spotted F/S on Gumtree only 90k miles, looks like a clean/tidy XM (But doesn't have the full A/C climate controls ) comes with three keys (Two plip type), priced @ £1395 !

This is also on Autotrader for £995 but in the description is states @1395 so not sure what's going on there. There seems to be a rather annoying trend for vendors (private or trader) to put an enticing price on the main listing but then put the real price in the description.
Advert says its a private seller but I got impression it's a trader from the tone of the description (either that or a switched on private seller)
Does look like a lot of XM for the money but one would hope the balancer shaft belt was also changed when timing belt was done.

From the tone of the responses from the seller they are a Trader indeed and not budging on price and took a bit of offence when i mentioned the £995 price.

Now on E-BAY too, as a classified Ad. for £1395 !

Schizophrenia with that price hey!!

Very odd, pricewise. Looks to me maybe like an unfortunate bit of cut-and-paste, with a sudden lurch into lower-case after the 'final' price of £1395, with a repetition of bits about fsh, windows, and all.

A real boob, but what would trading standards say? And would anyone take any notice?

The biggest problem I have with it as that the wrong price pus it into the wrong price bracket on the main search buttoned together with the wrong attitude as I see it to certain questions I posed I've decided to not waste my time going to see it.

The Under £1000 price bracket is cheaper for a seller...

As I thought (When making my O/P) this was F/S recently/not too long ago but I never bothered in posting the first time I spotted it on C&C (So hence I posted this time, because when I checked for M925 OVN on the forum search facility it never showed up)

However, after looking thro' Peter's new thread 'A few more for you to peruse' indeed its showing that only three weeks ago it was F/S on CAR & CLASSIC in the Woking/surrey area and now its moved North to Rochdale/Manchester area, IIRC the price then was a more reasonable £650 (as I thought John would probably have a go at it, being near and with lowish miles) !

So unless the seller recently moved house (Which I very much doubt one would have the time for selling veichles when that activity is taking place) I'd say that it could be a small time trader posing to be a private seller ?

Also note the recent/previous owner stated that the mileage was 96,000 and NOT 90,000 as stated with the current advertisements

If anyone on here is contemplating in buying this one, make sure that the water works are in fine fettle, (i.e. Both radiator's, Water Cooled Turbo Inter-cooler and not forgetting the Water Cooled Oil Cooler too) !

Re: silver xm 2.5td , i am the owner, and yes it was advertised in woking, for £695, but since then the car has had cambelt change, balancer belt, full service, and waterpump, so yes the price has gone up, and yes its moved to the northwest, i also have a collection of xm cars, and every now and then one comes up for sale, i also have many xm parts, so if anyone is interested, my name is ricky, and my number , well its on the advert.
