S2 2.1 auto in silver with leather on ebay

The interior is the velor Exclusive trim with alcantara bolster pieces. It's generally in good condition with slight pilling on the drivers bolster...

For someone not bothered about top notch bodywork this is a great car. The offside is in good order apart from rust at the back of the sill and the crushed jacking point, the nearside has a badly fitted rear wing and needs paint to both doors to be perfect.

Most things work and what doesn't is fixable.

I'm almost tempted to buy it to use for bits for another similar car.

How difficult/ expensive is it to get a set of leather seats?
Thats the only thing i can see wrong with this one!

Hi Dave

Car leather crops up regularly. The estate stuff is less common.
Only difference is in the width of the rear seat back.
Not all XM leather is heated and the heater wiring/switches are different between Mk1 and Mk2.
Mk1 seats can be fitted to Mk2 frame bases so nothing really special to look out for provided you are happy with black leather.
Not sure what I have spare until I have shuffled all the trim round the cars and repaired the heated seats.

Thanks again dieselman. Sounds like it's the same upholstry I have in my cars. So I'd be interested if anyone on here does buy it and doesn't want the seats. Although, if I was buying it, I'd at least use it until the MOT runs out.
