I need the door edge to glass weatherstrip for the outside of a NSF door. I foolishly removed mine to paint the door and the inner section split away.

Can you get it off without it splitting?

There is a retaining nut at the rear edge, inside the door then it would be best to press it up from below, with the glass removed.

Not keen on removing the glass just yet; but the motor is removed; so I'm guessing I can drop the glass right down

The glass will need to go below the normal lowest height, so will need to be unclipped. From there removal is a 30 second job, just tilt it and pull it up out of the door.
