I have the following that came off Justin's car. It is the wrong model for mine but works perfectly and I have the code!
I think it is worth about £80 including 1st Class P&P. If you think I am being optimistic then make me an offer! If no takers here it will be off to flea-bay.

I judge from the resounding silence that a) I am being greedy with the price b) no-one here needs one!
Ebay at the weekend I think.

The head unit will fit for sure. The auto changer is designed to fit in the boot but could be put anywhere it will fit. The cable could also be shortened if needed.
That was my original plan anyway. Then decided i should stick to my originality principles.

I will measure it later and get the dimensions posted here.
What is not clear from the photos is the fitting brackets.
I will post another image ASAP.

The mounts can also be used vertically:

Many XM.s had the autochanger fitted under the front passenger seat.
Posted details of the plate size and drilling for seat frame fitting many years ago.
Recovered one screwed to the floor under the seat.
Not sure that I could find the plate drawing now.
To give an idea of size the Citroen Centre at Oxford sometimes used old number plates as the mounting plate.
The bundle of spare cable was usually put in the centre console.
Cutting to shorten the cable is easy, rejoining or refitting the plug is a real pain.
