Sale now pending; Deposit taken.

Those of you who recall Shaun Lilley's pristine 2000 XM 3 litre might be interested.
I bought it 6 months back and it's as good as it looks.(Should be at 43K miles, with perfect Service record))
Age related ailments are restricting me somewhat currently, so I might consider selling it again, (if I don't succoumb to optimism and store it)
New MOT, 43K miles, all working......
£5000. Collect from Bristol
Pics on demand;(file too large for here, it seems) message me your e-address.

Shaun's original description!
3.0i V6 24v (ESJ9 engine) Exclusive with 4 speed auto adaptive gearbox.
Registered in Sept 2000 on an 'X' plate.
Mauritius blue with black leather
41000 miles from new with complete service history from new.
Log book shows three owners; Citroen UK (the car was used by Alain Favey, the MD, from Sept 2000 until 2001), then my father-in-law, then when he passed away in 2009 title passed to my mother-in-law.
The car drives as you would expect of a low mileage car, just like new, especially, as it has had a pampered service history. Expect attention from Citroen specialist, regularly, annual service, plus much preventative work (like having been waxoyled to prevent any rust and Autogearbox oil changes) carried out along with anything that has ever needed doing. All invoices are in a folder, along with all the old MOTs and stamped up service book

iirc, Shauns asking price was £3000+. Seems quite a hike for 6 months.

No, it was £4800. £5K is what I paid-check with him if you like.
Justin sold a 65K mile 3L car for a similar price last year and one went on t'bay for around £5.5K I believe.
Shaun's price to me was based on these two sales, he said. Read his description again?
At 43K miles it's probably the lowest mile, best condition XM around.
Or check condition with Tony in Dursley.....he liked it!

Tony Weston mentioned this car had been in recently, when I was down there last month having some work done on mine. Said it was a very nice example.

You must be very disappointed to have had to come to the decision to part with this lovely car. As much as I miss mine, £5k is about £4k above any potential car budget.
