Auto Gear Lever & Fascia Wanted

As it looks like I'm finally going to repair my ailing LH digi-display (see other thread), I'll to have to remove the dashboard, and so I might as well try and replace the entire padded fascia that surrounds it which was damage by vandals who broke into the car (S2, 3-litre Exclusive) three years ago. (The vinyl to the right of the dash, near the ignition barrel, was quite badly scarred). So does anyone have a replacement or knows where I could buy one?

And whilst I'm at it, the rubber gearlever handle was badly cut and also could do with replacing.

If gear lever is same as on Peugeot 605, take a look at my topic - viewtopic.php?f=11&t=7642&start=70" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, I found 605 3.0 graveyard, maybe you could find something that will fit.

dont forget you will need a RHD gear lever, LHD wont fit. They were still available from citroen 3 years ago but again, make shure they order a RHD one.

I may have the parts you want for the dash, possibly, but i will need to check next weekend.

Is the Mk 2 dash with passenger air bag identical to the one without?

I think the dash mould is the same but has an extra bracket for mounting the airbag with a smaller glove box behind it.. the orface they fit in are the same size for a full size glove box.

The point I was trying to check was about interchangability.
I found it impossible to remove a passenger airbag from the dash shell insitu.
All the screws come from behind.
In my case I just cut the shell as I had no need of it at the time.
The cut out airbag and shell surround is somewhere in the heap as I intended to take some record photos of the fixing type and positions.
Old dash stripped out and new one going in is not the time to find that mods are needed to make the airbag fit.
In these later cars Citroen had integrated the airbag systems so leaving one out or unplugged will be a problem.

Some while ago out of interest I repaired the plastic top of an auto gear lever.
That must still be around somewhere in one of the heaps.
Will see if I can find that and see how reasonable it looks.
