I have been asked by the widow of a friend of mine to find a new home for his Citroen XM Estate. Briefly the car is a March 1993, 2.1 (2088cc) Turbo Diesel, Manual Estate in Mercury Grey (metallic). Black leather interior, 1 owner and full service history with 116,000 showing on the clock. It has been off the road in a heated garage for the last 10 years but had an MOT at that point. I've washed the bulk of the dust off the outside. The inside is still a bit dusty but is in very good condition otherwise, the driver's seat being the only split in the leather.
Hopefully the photos show the car's true condition and illustrate the minor scratches and faults to the exterior. I'm happy to post more photos if required.
I put a new battery in and it started first time. I've topped up the LHM fluid and car appears to go up and down as it should. I've parked it on a clean garage floor to check for leaks, so far so good since the weekend. I think everything else appears to work. The car had an MOT at the point it was put into storage 10 years ago, I could put it through an MOT and see what comes up.
I'm not sure what this car is worth, I think we're open to offers. It's located 5-10 mins from J15 of the M1.

We put it through an MOT test this afternoon, other than a minor and a couple of bulbs the only issue seemed to be x3 leaks of the suspension fluid. We've scanned the refusal notice, here's a link
