S2 Estate 2.1td going for scrap

G'day y'all. My mate is finally getting rid of his S2 2.1td auto estate. It's usual green 99% complete but doesn't run. It failed some years ago and has been parked up since. Despite all this it still looks good and is only missing drivers window and indicator or wiper switch. He doesn't want to strip much off but would consider taking smaller parts off or selling th whole thing if anyone wants it. Car is situated in Wakefield W.Yorks, but won't be here for long :(

Hi campaigner,

If your friend's S2 radio is one of these...
XM2 radio.jpg
Philips 22 DC 594/xxx (paper label on the top will identify it)

...and working, then I'd be pleased to know how much he'd like for it.
Do let me have contact details for him.

Thanks

The radio powers up but is asking for a code. We're still looking for it

I think someone is buying the whole car, coming today to view it so reluctant to take things off it just now

Hi Ken,
If you can't find the code, it can be immediately obtained on-line from these folk:
https://www.radio-code.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Required 14-digit Serial number was not on the label on mine, but engraved on the unit's side (black cheek):
eg PHACBFT6007109.

Cost was £8.99 incl VAT, which more than happy to reimburse along with agreed price.

Fingers crossed.

>>>>>>>> Or, Ken, Post up the Serial number, and I'll post up the Code. Whichever is easiest. C.

I understand it has. My mate might still have a few XM bits left at the moment, was there anything you're looking for?
