Top radiator hose sprung a leak

I'm hoping that there is approved 'bodge-it and see' solution for this, My late XM V6 24v.
Alternatively anyone got one in hiding?

It's a little weep from the the hose, but it really needs to be fixed. As you can see it is a double right-angle!
right now I've bandaged it up so that it doesn't easily get any bigger.
It is just leaking down by the engine end. Unfortunately the isn't enough spare-play to cut the end off.

Cheers
Steve

I used one from an Isuzu truck on mine when it failed. Don’t remember which one I’m afraid, but it’s the right diameter.

That's an unusual place for a leak! The bend makes it a bit awkward but what I have done is cut a section out of the pipe and fitted a short length of metal pipe if you can find a bit the right size. Copper would be ideal but I have used sections of exhaust pipe. Secured with jubilee clips of course

I went to https://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and bought a 90 degree bend and a steel joiner. Fitted it ok this morning. Looking for the bleed points on the es9j4 engine and can't find any (other than the top of the radiator). Any ideas where they are? It only lost a couple of litres of coolant and the heater matrix and radiator are getting hot nicely, so maybe everything is ok. Good to know where they are though. It

Useful range of universal hose items (in black as well!) on that site.
