My stupid mate has let the MOT on his XM run out. It was running fine with virtually no problems although was seeing little use. Now the MOT has expired he wants to know if anyone wants it. I suggested he put it in for a test to see if it passes but he says he hasn't got the time  So to me this is scrap value although it may go straight through a test. I understand it may have some parts with it but it's really up to him, if he has the time to answer the phone.

It's a P reg car and not in bad condition from memory, he bought it off LankyTim some may remember it a couple of years ago.

PM me if interested and I'll pass him number on. Car's in Wakefield by the way

The guy who owns it has gone on holiday for a week today. What I know is it failed as above, however, The defective ball joint has refused to come out of it's hole despite the best efforts of a friend who NEVER sticks fast, this thing is solid. He's had MASSIVE stilsons on it with a scaffolding tube for extra leverage, he's even had it glowing red with the oxy bottles, but it's not moving so, looks like he's going to have to find another hub.
Similar problems removing the lower arm, the front end came off easy but the rear end 2 bolts sheard off part way though the alloy spacer, these need drilling out now but nothing happening for another week.
