Franklin's? old V6 for sale

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Franklin's? old V6 for sale

I think this was the XM V6 Si that passed through Franklin Rugg's hands some years back, now back in the UK and for sale.

I don't know, i never saw the car (if this is the one) but when Franklin got it i'm sure it had been a write-off, but so what, at one point this car would have been worth about £50 so replacing a good pair of headlamp bulbs would of given it a Cat C marker. I think it was rather rare being an Si spec V6 with cloth and no A/C which this car has although when Franklin had it it was on bowling ball wheel trims not alloys which i think the listing explains.
I am fairly certain this was bought at a good price and sold on because that is what the Rugg's did and they were good at it. That was some years ago now though.

Hi All
Yes this was Patrick and Franklins car before i bought it and took it to France were we lived , we are now back in the UK sadly not in such good health and of course somewhat older so the car simply will not be used by me anymore since i bought the car it has only done 2000miles apprx , passed its last MOT which ran out in August without any advisories and has only been driven back to my home a distance of less than 2 miles
As you say it must be quite rare now and i honestly believe that with a weekend spent detailing it possibly will be one of the best

merry xmas to all Brian

I remember Franklin posted a load of pictures of the car but I don't know what forum that was on and when, unfortunately, I'm sure if you looked hard enough here you could find something, his forum name was Duke i think
