Matt wrote about keypad cover replacement a couple of years back.
A repair is also possible if it's just the flap hinges that are partly broken.

One of the two springs can also be omitted, to reduce the 'twang up' action of the lid.

I can probably find a complete working keypad lap also the washer cap.
Searching them out might take a while.

Ahh my housing hinges are too far gone for this repair i'm afraid! Also the little sping loaded retainer clip has one side broken off!
Ah great, if you can let me know xmexclusive as soon as you find them, i'll take them off your hands :D

John's offer has to be the best one.
IIRC, the retaining latch was also a Sony item, used on their 27" Trinitron tv control panel. Sony's spares availability* was a darned sight better than PSA's!

* The Gold Cup has to go to Bosch, though. Last year I obtained a set of motor brushes and bearings for a 30+year-old mains hammer drill, Bosch, but made by Scintilla in Switzerland. Belonged to my father.

That's incredible how parts are shared between different products, i work a lot on agricultural machinery from the 1950's up to late 90's and had to repair a smashed gear shifter on a little 90's blue ford tractor, the shifter cap was in bits, but originally had a switch in the middle to go between low and high ranges, was impossible to get a replacement from Ford but in the end, it turned out that this was made from the same moulds as shifter caps that were installed on a 60's Triumph (iirc), the center switch was for overdrive!

I cannot remember the model of our old tv, but I am fairly sure it was a Sony and the controls cover latch was indeed identical to the XM keypad as stated by Chris. Regards, Matthew T.

These latches are a standard electronics component and can be obtained new.
I have a bag somewhere that I got sent over last year from China.

Hi XmXD
For the cover and cap it might be worth messaging xm-spares (see ebay item 142925915548).
He recently broke his last 2.5 estate and is located Brighton as I think you are.

Funnily enough i've been talking to him about his cylinder head that he has going, but unfortunately he doesn't have either the immob cover or washer jet cover.

Fine, worth trying as he was so close, will look out for the bits.
Is there any other damage to the washer?
Cap does not often go awol unless there are other problems.
