wanted, rear suspension cylinder and gaiter

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Do you know the full measurments of all 3, I have this feeling that the ram might of pop out of the cylinder (well gone pass the rubber sills, because the piston when back in on its own)
I am wondering now if the one that was fitted was to small in length

Cit list rear cylinder gaiter as 5461864, for Mk1 Estate.
Annoyingly, there is no part number listed for Mk2 Estate (just a diagram).

As yours is a "1.5", it could help if you could post the car's VIN number. Just possible that might help nail which cylinder/gaiter the car has.

Chris

As stated in my first post ALL estates use the same size rear cylinders.
So the part number 5461864 you have quoted above is the number for Mk 2 estates as well as Mk 1 ones.
