Before condemning the original unit, try resoldering all the soldered contacts.

H hope car is petrol with air con. The control chip has blown a hole its totally useless hope someone can help

Have a you picture of the said box. I've a fair few bits n Black box's collected up over the years.. So could well have one..

ooppppppppssssss taken unit out left on side misses placed in bin . can u post pics it had 15 pins bitron on it regards
