I've gone and purchased the wrong gasket for my thermostat. It's part 1339.66 PSA original I think its for 2.1L diesels.

Let me know if you can make use of it otherwise it's going to go to waste.

In the event of unobtainable gaskets I run a bead of silicone sealant around one face and leave it overnight to cure, you then have a nice semi flexible seal.

i actually have some of the Granville’s stuff but Lucky enough to find the correct gasket on eBay for a few quid. Good to know there’s an alternative.

I make a gasket out of a rubbery gasket material you can buy in sheets on eBay if they can’t be bought

Liquid gasket seal (I think it's a polyurethane adhesive) available. Soecified item for Toyota steel engine sump to alu block.
There is also Viton sheet material on Amazon, eg 300x300x1mm, which can be cut to size.
