I've found a wiring diagram that is for the RGY, 2.0i Turbo, engine. There is no indication of Rp number, and the ECU is 261 200 219 but I think it should do.

The fuel pump is fed +12v from pin-9 for the double relay, which is linked to Pin-1 (Lambda heater and ignition coil). This side of the relay is triggered by Pin-3 of both the relay and ECU, going to Gnd.

I suspect what is happening is that the ECU primes the pump for 1 second, then supplies power during cranking, but either loses power to the ECU when the Ign switch returns to the Ign position, or the TDC is failing to report, so the ECU shuts down the double relay.

The ECU wont trigger this side of the relay if there is no +12v on Pin-27, likewise the other side of the relay if the +12v on Pin-36 is missing.

Check ALL power and Gnd feeds before going too deep.

A session with a meter, test lights, or scope should reveal all.

Try reading the codes to see what you have.

Hi. Did you ever get to the bottom of this demario? I have the same fault with my 2ltr turbo s1 sei. I've replaced the double relay and the fuel pump, fault is still the same. Will action as above and report back with progress.

Hi all. It was the crank shaft sensor that was causing this problem for me. The fuel pump would prime the first time, however as the ecu never recieved a signal that the engine had turned over, it never gave the signal to the ecu to re-prime, so it threw me off. Replaced the crank shaft sensor (which is an impossible job, located above the gearbox housing) and it's back to life! Hopefully this will help someone else out in the future if they have the same fault.
