Side position lights new on Ebay

Thought it worth mentioning as I know how difficult 96168249 and 96168248 side front position lights are to find.
These are new and though not cheap at £42 each are probably some of the last we'll ever see.
I got the postage combined by buying one of each.
I know how much fitting new headlights did for the look of the front end; 30 year old plastic side lights never looks factory fresh, but brand new out of the box do.

carparts*1 is the seller in Germany. he uses a Valeo number 0960975 0960976 in the listing.

As they say when they are gone they are gone. I look at it this way I use my car every day to get to work and go on holiday etc.

I could have a 5 year old Euro box I'm paying £400 a month to own with depreciation more than the cost of these lights. In fact what would you pay for similar lights on a 10 year old BMW or Audi? It's all relative. In a way it's just repaying the car for the joy of owning and driving it.

Good spot. They have been difficult to find anywhere, let alone new.
Have just ordered a pair.

The seller's items are on Ebay.de . . . search for Valeo 0960975, and Valeo 0960976, as you say.

Definitely an ouch for me but if I had the cash I would. I've a new xantia side light which I bought for the twist in bulb holder part. Looking at it the body is not suitable but the lens appears to match so kept it to carefully cut off and glue in place of a broken XM lens.

I was interested, but it looks like the parts are no longer available. Exercising my brain I remembered I already had a spare set and checking a box, yes, I do have a set

Must have picked them up for peanuts years ago.
