Thank you Sageman, Agreed yes interesting paintwork, no Idea why the clearcoat and the Brown Metallic basecoat have gone to that extent in some places and not in others, the nearside virtually has not suffered at all yet offside and the roof have suffered so badly

I suspect the badly affected areas have been facing the Summer sun for all the years these cars have been stored.
Due to lack of washing and protection coat being added, the paint has broken down.
The Bronze car has been affected more because the dark paint absorbed more UV which made it hotter, accelerating the deterioration.

With some Tlc, these could both be nice cars.
