Hi Peter

For me that is still no different than it has always been.

The front end web page will stand independently of the actual forum and its there where there's been a problem
with the main code to allow full smooth operation of the forum database. Large parts of the forum are still live
and running and you can post and browse through it but 15% of the front end options are AWOL.

Do you have an old bookmark of a particular thread as it will give you the backdoor access into the rest of it!?

Andrew

I think that one of the possible reasons for my easy access is that it seems that I was logged on when the front end went down.

Interesting about the being logged on while it went down. I think it's being sabotaged by the so called owner seeing how it keeps dropping in and out depending on how we find ways round it. I now agree totally with the drop it and start again. Sorry to those who had put time in. It was much appreciated by all of us I am sure.

Ciaran didn't you have a look over there to see if you could help? Just wondered if it had been abandoned now or are there still efforts to repair it?

Hi Dave,

I did offer Norrie help a few times both on the website itself and via email, but never received any response so not sure what's going on.

I tried phoning him, both mobile and home, with a similar response. I know he has been very busy and I think somewhat stressed over his work. I would be very surprised if anything was done about the website at this late stage.

Hi All

Perhaps we should think about making an offer to Norrie of the option of being a moderator on here.
