Just a temporary blip I think, if I can find a nice tidy 2.1 manual estate :D

Hi Dean

You wait till I do the swap.
After this trench business I am going to park a nice looking silver 2.5 estate in the field.
Just got to complete the MOT and do a trip to Paul for the engines etc.
Day out next week, being picked up at Yarmouth to go to Ventnor so nothing but hand lugage.
SWMBO is unlikely to authorise a shopping trolley full of rear arms.

no they can be very picky about that sort of thing :D
I think selling a 2.5 Big Money Waster and replacing it with a 2.5 xm may be the way to go you know looks like a 2.1 silver MK2 estate Peter but it would move if the mood took you ;)

Not a hope Dean.
The 2.5 oil filter is right in front when you lift the bonnet.
The thermostats in plain view.
All unfamiliar and not to the 2.1 standard.
On the other hand loading up Peters spare engine and getting Paul to mate that with the existing MG5 box with its hydraulic clutch.
Now that might make a very interesting Silver Estate to deliver back.
I even get a few 2.5 spares out of it.
Will have a quiet word with my daughter as she is over with her family for the week and might just squeeze a few odds and ends in.

I'm afraid you are right Dean, I scan the internet every day.

John.

If you want to get your car out in a hurry I dare say I can put some boards across.
