'What Car' Article

Here is a copy of the 'What Car' September 1989 magazine featuring the XM 2.0i tested against the Lancia Thema, Renault 25 and Saab 9000. Overall the XM scored fairly well in the middle, but it was placed first by two of the Readers! I hope you enjoy the article. With regards, Matthew T. PS. I spotted a nice R25 yesterday, a 'J' plate top spec (2.5 four cylinder petrol I believe), owned from new by an elderly chap with 60k on the clock.

Hi Matthew,

An excellent post, thank you for sharing, its one definitely worth keeping.

BTW, on the image sizing issue, I've made a modification to the forum that should make this easier in future, details here. :)

Many thanks Ciaran and I am pleased that you enjoyed reading the test. When I checked earlier the photo re-sizing feature looked like a big improvement, except now the images seem to be as before!! With regards, Matthew T.

Sorted, my fault, I accidentially told the attachment system to 'always try to create a thumbnail preview', which over-rode the resizing javascript, fixed now. Well spotted :)

BTW I've upped the attachment limits to 5 items per post instead of 3, and the filesize is now 4mb instead of 2, if you're posting anymore :)
