Its with huge sadness and great loss that i have to announce that Ray lost his fight 3am this morning and has passed on.
A huge loss to the citroen world for Xm resto as we all know..
Will be greatly missed!

Oh no this is such sad news. Wow, Ray was a legend and all round good guy. He was happy to help and always interested in others. What a guy and he will be sorely missed.

Really awful news. I suppose it was inevitable but Ray had been battling on in his usual way and as usual had a great attitude, more concerned for others than himself. I was Emailing and texting him just a few weeks ago and had meant to check in with him in the past couple of days but work and other irrelevant nonsense got in the way.
A massive loss, not just to this site, to XMs, the Citroen community in general, and of course most of all Ray's family and friends, God help him, and them.
Live life to the full guys, Ray did and he never let that bastard disease get him down.
Absolutely gutted.

Really, really sad news, although not unexpected. Take my hat off to Ray, who, with Matt and others, set out and did the Grand Tour of France and Spain - where we all met up in Almeria for a glorious day.
A gentle man, and a true gentleman, who - as folk have said - always seemed more interested in others than himself. Only this morning, I wondered about how he was doing. Inquisitive and kindly to the last... that is my abiding memory.

Very sad news indeed. Ray was a lovely chap and had such enthusiasm for the XM and their owners. A pleasure to know him and will be greatly missed on here and the CCC rallies.

Very sorry to hear of this terrible news, my thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.
