Just quick thank-you to Ciaran for the shift yesterday to the new server.
Like the look of the updated layout, and it's certainly running nippily, so far. :)

Thanks Chris,

Was supposed to be done more than 6 months ago, but better late than never eh!
There a re a few teething issues with mobile display and a lot of the old third party plugins are no longer functional on the new platform, so will need to sort out replacements.
All in all though it went well besides a few database issues, pleased to have got it done. The bandwidth at the new location is much, much better than previously, and the machine is running SSD drives, so delays in attachment downloads etc, should be a thing of the past hopefully.

Works great on a mobile, even loaded an attachment today and it was super quick even via a mobile!

I'm afraid Tapatalk might be one of the plugins you mention? Can't login for a couple of days now... :-)

By the way, there is one item left, I've just seen it in a relatively new post: the old problem of onclick fragments attached repeatedly to a link when the post is edited. Is this supposed to be gone now and the post I saw was a pre-change one?

I googled a bit and found out that, for some strange reason, there is an awful lot of animosity between the Tapatalk and the phpBB crowds. Rather alarming news. :-(
